Quit your day job. Start a business on Shopify. In partnership with the Ottawa International Airport, Shopify hosted a two day pop up encouraging travelers to quit their day job. The pop up shop featured goods made by entrepreneurs across Canada and free guides for how to start an online business. News coverage included the Ottawa Citizen and Ottawa Business Journal.
While at Xerocon London, I announced Shopify's recent integration with Xero UK, and discussed tactics for running an effective online business. Xero accounting partners were keen to learn so they could pass on the knowledge to their clients.
